Pacific agencies prepare for regional tsunami-warning exercise
PacWAVE26 will test tsunami-warning communication and information sharing, focusing on volcanic-source scenarios in the Southwest Pacific.
The exercise runs from 23:00 UTC on 4 November to 03:00 UTC on 5 November 2026. It will test information exchange, operational procedures and communication pathways.
