EU launches month-long exercise to test crisis-response coordination
Integrated Resolve 2026 runs from 19 October to 20 November, testing coordination through simulated hybrid crises inside and outside the EU.
The exercise rehearses EU crisis-response arrangements and cooperation with international partners. It forms part of the Preparedness Union Strategy’s work on resilience.
What changed
This is an institutional exercise, not an actual emergency or new household stockpiling advice.
Who this is for
EU crisis-management institutions and participating international partners, rather than households receiving new supply instructions.
Dates & context
DG ECHO published the announcement on 19 October. It describes the exercise’s purpose and timetable, not completed results or proof that response capabilities have improved.
