Taiwan’s safety guide distinguishes seven-day home supplies from a go bag

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense launched its revised public safety guide on 16 September 2025. The official guide website recommends at least seven days of household supplies and, separately, a personal evacuation bag for one to three days. It calls for checking supplies every six months.

What changed

The seven-day figure is for supplies kept at home, not the amount to carry while evacuating. The guide covers natural disasters and security emergencies; its publication is not evidence that a particular crisis is imminent. This packet does not establish when the duration advice was first introduced.

Who this is for

National household supplies and separate evacuation bag

Household and go-bag HTML pages directly verified. MND launch press conference dated ROC 114.09.16 converts to 16 September 2025; later MND release explicitly confirms that launch. The guide’s online sections have no visible publication date. English PDF fetches timed out; no unverified PDF edition date or detailed PDF changes used.
