Taiwan reports completion of safety-guide distribution to 9.73 million households

Taiwan’s Interior Ministry reported that its household safety-guide distribution ended on 16 January. It recorded 9,729,315 copies delivered and a 99.83% distribution rate, following a rollout that began on 19 November 2025.

The report describes delivery challenges including remote addresses, rebuilt properties and households without mailboxes. Local offices retained extra copies for people who still needed the guide.

What changed

A verified distribution milestone distinct from the guide’s initial publication. The reported rate is not 100%; do not claim that every household received a copy.

Who this is for

National physical-guide distribution; household crisis preparedness.

Dates & context

This closes an implementation question that a publication announcement cannot answer: how far the paper guidance actually reached. It does not announce a new household supply duration.
