Poland launches sixth school programme in emergency preparedness
Education with the Military plans practical emergency-preparedness lessons for pupils at 1,500 schools by 18 December.
Soldiers deliver three-hour sessions covering first aid, emergency calls, crisis response, digital hygiene and recognising information manipulation.
What changed
A new round of school education, not an imminent emergency warning or new household-supply rule.
Who this is for
Pupils at participating primary and secondary schools in Poland.
Dates & context
The sixth edition began on 28 October and is scheduled through 18 December 2026. Nearly 600,000 pupils mentioned by the ministry attended the previous five editions; that is not the new round’s completed participation.
