Luxembourg launches 72-hour household guide and national campaign
The government launched a household guide, with roughly 300,000 printed copies scheduled for nationwide distribution from 14 October.
The guide covers risks, warning systems, authorities’ responsibilities and household self-sufficiency. Its emergency plan includes communication, vulnerable people and important documents.
What changed
A new guide and public-information campaign implements the existing national resilience strategy.
Who this is for
Households across Luxembourg, with print and multilingual online versions.
What the official guidance says
- Use the guide’s checklist and personal emergency plan to consider your household’s needs.
Dates & context
The launch date is 9 October. A subsequent Lenningen municipal notice, updated 18 October, reports distribution on 14–16 October; that is a local-government report, not an independent delivery audit. The 72-hour aim concerns temporary disruption, not a prediction of a particular crisis.
