France’s October resilience update details mobile outreach and planned exercises
France’s fifth National Resilience Day programme combines public risk-awareness activities with a mobile campaign and a planned series of territorial resilience exercises.
The dossier reports more than 12,000 labelled actions for 2026. Its mobile campaign uses emergency vehicles to direct people to official resources and scenarios about flooding, forest fires and cyclones.
What changed
A dated programme update, distinct from the 2025 Tous responsables guide. Planned exercises must not be described as already completed.
Who this is for
The public and local preparedness organisations in mainland and overseas France.
What the official guidance says
- Use official local-risk resources and preparedness activities.
- Distinguish the 12 October publication from the 13 October event.
Dates & context
A separate exercise series was scheduled from November 2026 in Hérault, followed by Marne and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in 2027. Those are announced future activities, not evidence of current emergencies.
