Estonia makes shelter practice the focus of civil-protection month
The Rescue Board opened October’s civil-protection campaign by asking residents to plan and practise sheltering at home, school and work.
The announcement linked practical shelter planning to the EE-ALARM test scheduled for 14 October. It also outlined community quizzes, youth workshops and information sessions for schools and apartment associations. Television programmes planned for November would address power cuts and household emergency supplies.
What changed
A dated skills campaign, not a new household stockpiling duration or warning of an imminent attack.
Who this is for
Residents, schools, workplaces and apartment associations.
